Aaron Murphy

Head of Finance
OpsAaron joined Cuttable’s leadership team in February 2025 as our first finance hire, laying the foundations for a high-performing finance function from day one. He brings a proven track record of steering the financial ships of tech companies, with valuable experience spanning London, Perth’s resources sector, and Melbourne’s fast-growing startup ecosystem.
From scaling the finance team at PEXA—the world’s first digital property exchange platform—from startup to IPO, to helping reinvent the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) space at 6clicks, Aaron knows what it takes to support ambitious growth.
A seasoned CPA who truly gets startups, Aaron brings deep expertise in financial management, accounting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. He specialises in building finance functions that scale, tightening controls, and delivering clear, investor-ready reporting. He brings clarity to the chaos, providing the strategic financial leadership that enables Cuttable to grow with confidence—keeping the runway strong, the financials bulletproof, and the story clear for investors.
Thanks to Aaron, the rest of us get to stay focused on democratising great advertising—knowing the numbers are in good hands.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Finance, and Commercial Law from Deakin University, and outside of work he’s either with his young family or clocking up marathon training miles.
