We’ve Raised $10M & Launched the World’s Best AI Creative Agency for Growing Brands

We’re incredibly excited to share some big news: Cuttable has secured an additional A$4.5M in funding, on top of our original A$5.5M raised 12 months ago, bringing our total seed raise to AU$10M. This round was led by Square Peg, supported by Rampersand and Previously Unavailable. We are lucky to have partners like them.

After 12 months in deep build mode, we’ve officially launched the world’s first AI creative agency built for growing online businesses and in just three weeks, marketers and founders at 50+ ecommerce brands have already started using it.

Why We Built Cuttable

If you’ve run an online brand, you know the reality: you’re packing orders, talking to customers, tweaking your site and somehow still making ads at midnight.

In every brand we worked with during our R&D phase, we saw the same thing: small budgets, big growth targets, and no access to top-tier creative support.

Creative work is still the most powerful growth lever for ecommerce brands but they struggle to keep up with the volume and diversity of ads required to drive performance on platforms like Meta. We’re changing that.

What We’ve Built

Cuttable is a fully automated AI platform that can generate hundreds of on-brand, performance-ready ads in minutes.

It’s powered by AI trained by senior advertising strategists from agencies like McCann, BBDO, Ogilvy, TBWA and technologists from Atlassian, Me&U and A Cloud Guru.

Recent hires include:

  • Paul Arena (ex-Ogilvy), now Head of Strategy, leading the development of our AI advertising logic.
  • Helen Crossley (ex-Meta), one of the world’s top marketing science leaders, who previously led Global Ad Effectiveness at Meta, has been advising us on making Cuttable the most effective ad creation platform for growing brands on Meta.

Proving the Model Before Launch

In 2024, we partnered with brands of all sizes - from Kogan, Wesfarmers, Medibank, DiDi, Powershop, and Dabble to early-stage ecommerce startups. Over that period, we created 10,000+ ads through our early platform.

In early 2025, we interviewed over 100 ecommerce founders across Australia, the UK, and the US. The message was clear: Growing budgets. Big expectations. Zero access to strategic creative support.

Launch and Early Traction

We launched Cuttable three weeks ago and already, 50+ ecommerce brands are using the platform.

From cult brands like Merry People, Frank Body, Bare Leather, Mihan Aromatics, Zorali, St. Ali Coffee, Bobby Soft Drinks, Bondi Active, Hunter Lab, LNDR and Elita Genetics, the feedback has been incredible.

As Josh Mihan, Founder of Mihan Aromatics, put it: “Founders and marketers doing their own ads, that’s the future. Cuttable is like giving your assets steroids. It’s the new ChatGPT for advertising. It’s going to change the game.”
